NAIDOC celebrations were held on 27th June. The day started with an assembly in the hall where the audience were entertained by the Doonside PS Aboriginal Dance Group Students from Preschool to Year 6 were involved in a number of exciting activities including Aboriginal dancing, beading, face painting, hand-prints, rock painting, storytelling, Johnny cake making etc. Many thanks to all who made the day a huge success, including a number of community members who volunteered their time to support the school.
