Attendance

The  Education Act (1990) and NSW School Attendance Policy requires parents to inform the school if their children will be absent from school on a school day and the reason for the absence..

Following an absence from school, you must ensure that within 7 days you provide your child’s school with a verbal or written explanation for the absence. However, if the school has not received an explanation from you within 2 days, the school may contact you to discuss the absence.

Compass is now our school dashboard for loading absence. Please download the app and contact the school for your logon and password. Notification of lateness and absence are sent via sms.

Extended Leave - School requirement

• Please complete all pages if your child is going on extended leave in excess of 5 days.

• Read the school requirement forms.

• Forms are not required for leave under 5 days.

• Applications for extended leave are required to be submitted at least a week prior to the leave period.

• Relevant travel documentation such as an e ticket or itinerary (in the case of non flight bound travel within Australia only) must be attached to this application.

  Please note that approval of such leave is subject to Principal approval.
