This is a notice to inform and remind you of the changes in the number of days your child will be attending preschool next semester-Semester 2.
If you have any queries please speak to the preschool teachers or Mrs Charles at the front office.

Group 1 ( Students who attended preschool on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for term 1 and term 2) will now be attending preschool on:
Monday and Tuesday only for term 3 and term 4.
From: Tuesday 21st July 2026 to Tuesday 15th December 2026.
Group 2 (Students who attended preschool on Thursday and Friday term 1 and term 2 will now be attending preschool on :
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for term 3 and term 4.
From: Wednesday 22nd July 2026 to Thursday 17th December 2026.
Term 3 Overview Planner
As Term 2 comes to a close, we’re excited to share our Term 3 Overview Planner. The planner highlights key learning areas, special events and important dates to help families prepare for the term ahead.
We encourage parents and carers to review the planner and stay informed about what’s happening next term. Our staff are looking forward to another term filled with engaging activities and opportunities for student growth.

Welcome to Doonside Public School, where learning comes alive and every child’s potential shines bright! I’m David Galea, your principal and a proud long-standing member of the Doonside community. With heartfelt dedication and a passion for education, I am committed to nurturing a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place where every student feels valued and supported.
At Doonside PS, we believe every child deserves a learning environment that sparks curiosity and fuels a love for knowledge. From our vibrant Kindergarten to Year 6 mainstream classes, to our exciting preschool program focused on play and exploration, we lay strong foundations for literacy, numeracy, and creative thinking.
We’re especially proud of our Opportunity Class, designed to challenge and inspire gifted minds, and our Supported Setting classes that provide personalised care for students needing extra support – every learner matters here!
But school is about more than just lessons! Our extensive range of extracurricular activities – from sports and arts to leadership and community projects – ensures there’s something for everyone. It’s all made possible by our passionate team who work tirelessly to bring out the best in each student.
